When you commit to actively participating in your personal growth, you invite your higher self in to assist in creating experiences that align with your growth. Preparing your mind and body is an integral part of this journey, allowing the medicine to go deeper during the ceremony. It's important to remember that preparation is not about being perfect. You are preparing your body and your mind for a period of learning, transformation, and healing. The optimal condition to receive what we need from these ceremonies is to have a clean, pure vessel (body/mind) as undistracted as possible. Many of the things we put into our bodies and the people & places we surround ourselves with can create a lot of “noise” internally, distracting and obstructing our ability to be truly present, aware, and grounded. “Quieting” the system (body/mind) as much as possible helps create much-needed internal space in ceremony. You know your body/mind best. In the weeks before our time together, pay attention to what is happening inside. Do your best to be aware of what you are using as distractions, what is not serving you, and what is nurturing you.

Kambo will be the first medicine we will work with.

The spirit of Kambo contains an intelligence that is beyond our human comprehension. We have noticed that those who connect with the spirit of the frog oftentimes experience shifts before we come together in ceremony. This could simply look like closing your eyes, visualizing the frog, sharing your intentions, and asking specific questions or inviting the spirit to share with you what you are ready to receive.

We invite you to use these images and video to connect with the spirit of Kambo...

The frog itself is a bright green color and correlates to the heart chakra making it a powerful medicine for issues surrounding the heart such as self-love, trust, forgiveness, reconciling relations, and deeper and more intimate connections with self and others.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
TRAVEL
We highly recommend that you arrive at least a day in advance to avoid any flight delays or cancellations.
You will fly into Mexico City Airport (MEX), and if you choose to stay in Mexico City (CDMX), you can easily find an Airbnb between $30-$60 per night. Some safe and walkable areas to look for a hotel or Airbnb in are:
Condesa
Roma Norte
Roma Sur
Juarez
Narvarte
*Parque Mexico is a well-known park in Condesa with several cafes (and one of Angie’s favorite places to dog-watch).

We will provide further directions to the house as we get closer to the date.

MEXICO CASH & TIPS
We recommend that you notify your bank that you will be traveling to Mexico so that you can access your money. We have found that the best way to receive cash in Mexico pesos is to use the ATM (always decline the conversion rate), which can be done at the airport or at a bank. The banks with the cheapest atm fees ($3.00ish) are Santander, Banorte, and Citibanamex). You can also use an exchange service at the airport, which is more expensive.
Approximate…
$100 pesos = $6 USD
$200 pesos = $12 USD
$500 pesos = $30 USD
$1000 pesos = $60 USD
Though tipping is not mandatory, you are welcome to show your generosity to the staff. We will collect any tips on the final day, and ask that you do not give money directly to them.
We have been inspired by and called to work with these medicines throughout our own personal development, and it is with great honor and joy that we share in such an intimate and safe space. We look forward to sharing our medicine, receiving your medicine, co-creating, and guiding you through aligning with your most authentic self. Please reach out to one of us with any questions.
