Preparing for Ceremony

Congratulations on making this commitment to yourself. It is a deep honor to be a carrier of this sacred medicine and to share my experience and knowledge with you. Kambo a.k.a. Sapo, scientifically known as Phyllomedusa bicolor, is a powerful detoxifier and purifier of the physical, mental, and emotional bodies. Preparing these bodies is integral to this journey and allows the medicine to go deeper when in ceremony.

Your spot is confirmed once a 50% deposit or full payment is made (unless previously arranged). Full payment is due 24 hours before our scheduled ceremony.

How to Prepare

Do not eat or drink anything other than water for at least 6 hours prior to ceremony.

What to Bring

One gallon of spring or purified room-temperature water

Cancellation Policy

I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and I strive to accommodate my guests as best as I can. However, please note that due to the nature of my offerings and the advanced preparations required, my cancellation policy is as follows:

Payment is non-refundable.
Transfer to Another Person: You may transfer your reservation to another individual, provided that the new participant meets the following criteria:
- The individual must be in good physical and mental health to safely participate in the ceremony.
- You must inform me about the transfer at least 7 days before the scheduled ceremony.
Cancellation within 3 Days: If you decide to cancel your reservation within 3 days of the scheduled ceremony, the full fee will be considered forfeited.
Cancellation at Least 7 Days in Advance: Should you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask that you to do so at least 7 days in advance. In this case, I will make every effort to accommodate your request and reschedule your participation for a future ceremony, subject to availability.

I understand that emergencies and unexpected situations can occur, and I'll do my best to work with you within the framework of this policy. Please note that my ceremonies often involve extensive preparation and planning, and your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK, RELEASE, AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

I am of sound mind and good physical health, and choose to participate in this healing session on my own will. I understand that the Practitioner has not and will not render any medical diagnosis. I further understand that this healing session is complementary and in no way a substitute for medical diagnosis and/or treatments. I will notify the practitioner if at any time during this healing session I feel any discomfort, pain, serious illness or injury. I acknowledge that these are my responsibilities and that the practitioner is not liable for any injury, illness or damages, resulting from my participation in this healing session. The practitioner has the right to refuse, cease, and/or withdraw treatment/participation of any person.

Assumption of Risk: The undersigned hereby acknowledges and agrees that (s)he understands the nature of this healing session; that Participant is qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate therein; that there are certain inherent risks and dangers associated with this healing session; and that, except as expressly set forth herein, (s)he, knowingly and voluntarily accepts and assumes responsibility for each of these risks and dangers, and all other risks and dangers that could arise out of, or occur during, Participant’s participation in this healing session. Participant understands that any questions regarding the appropriateness of this healing session given any current diagnosis (s)he has been given or any treatment (s)he is receiving should be directed to Participant’s treating physician prior to participating in this healing session.

Release and Waiver: The undersigned hereby RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE the Practitioner from and for any liability resulting from any personal injury, accident, or illness (including death), and/or property loss, however, caused, arising from, or in any way related to, Participant’s participation in this healing session.

Indemnification and Hold Harmless: The undersigned also hereby agrees to INDEMNIFY, DEFEND AND HOLD the Practitioner HARMLESS from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities including, but not limited to, attorney's fees, arising from, or in any way related to, Participant’s participation in this healing session.

Acknowledgment of Understanding: The undersigned has read this assumption of risk, release and waiver of liability and indemnity agreement, and has had the opportunity to ask questions about the same. The undersigned fully understands this assumption of risk, release and waiver of liability and indemnity agreement, that the undersigned is giving up substantial rights in connection therewith, and that its terms are contractual, and not a mere recital. The undersigned acknowledges that s(he) is signing this agreement freely and voluntarily.
