Liberate 2024 Terms and Conditions

1. Retreat Overview: The 6-day/5-night plant medicine retreat ("Retreat") is organized by Egami, offering participants an opportunity to engage in plant medicine ceremonies, workshops, and activities focused on self-discovery, personal growth, and healing.

2. Eligibility: Participants must be 18 years or older to attend the Retreat. They should be in good physical and mental health. Participants with underlying health conditions, particularly mental health concerns, should consult their healthcare provider before registering for the Retreat.

3. Retreat Participation: By registering for the Retreat, participants agree to fully engage in all scheduled activities, ceremonies, workshops, and abide by the guidelines set forth by the facilitators and organizers.

4. Conduct and Respect: All participants are expected to show respect for fellow participants, organizers, facilitators, and the local community. Any behavior that disrupts the harmony, disrespects others, or compromises the safety of oneself or others will not be tolerated and may lead to expulsion from the Retreat without refund.

5. Health and Safety: Participants understand and acknowledge that the use of plant medicine involves inherent risks. Participants must disclose any medications, health conditions, or allergies to the organizers before the Retreat. The organizers shall not be liable for any health complications or reactions arising during or after the Retreat.

6. Release of Liability: Participants agree to release Egami, its organizers, facilitators, and associated personnel from any liability, claims, or damages arising from participation in the Retreat, including but not limited to physical or psychological injuries, losses, or damages.

7. Payments and Cancellations: 

   1. Payment Terms: To secure a spot in the Retreat, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required upon reservation or you may make full payment. Payments made using a credit card will incur a 3% service fee. The reservation is considered confirmed once the deposit is received.

   2. Installment Payments: After the initial deposit, the remaining balance will be divided into equal monthly payments, with the full balance due one month before Liberate's start date. If you fail to make the full payment by this date, you will forfeit your participation in the Retreat and no refund will be issued.

   3. Cancellation Policy: If you cancel within 48 hours of making your initial payment, a full refund will be issued minus any service fees. Cancellations made 60 days or more before Liberate's start date will receive a 50% refund minus any service fees associated with credit card payments. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 60 days of Liberate's start date.

8. Changes and Cancellation by Organizers: Egami reserves the right to modify the Retreat facilitators, schedule, activities, or location due to unforeseen circumstances or if it is in the best interest of the participants' safety and experience. In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to inform participants of changes.

9. Travel Arrangements: Participants are responsible for their travel to and from Tulum, as well as any additional expenses outside the scope of the Retreat package. It is recommended that participants secure travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.

10. Photography and Media: By participating in the Retreat, participants grant Egami the right to use any photographs, videos, or testimonials taken during the Retreat for promotional and marketing purposes.

 

By registering for the Retreat, participants acknowledge that they have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
